Trish, Licensed Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant
Trish went into dentistry because she always loved going to the dentist and she has a desire to help others. She obtained her training for dental assisting at SCTCC. Trish joined the Avon Dental team in 2015 and works to help patients achieve a beautiful and confident smile. When she’s not at the clinic, Trish can be found hiking, canoeing, camping, cross country skiing and spending time on the Gunflint Trail.
Lisa, Licensed Dental Assistant
Lisa obtained her training for dental assisting at Central Lakes College and has been a dental assistant at Avon Dental since 2000. Some of her favorite aspects of her job are helping patients with dental anxiety feel at ease in the dental chair and providing patients with an overall great experience. Outside of work Lisa enjoys boating, vacations and road trips.
Nicole, Licensed Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant
Nicole earned her dental assistant degree from SCTCC in 2012. Nicole joined the Avon Dental team in 2018. With her gentle spirit, she helps patients feel comfortable and cared for through any procedure. Nicole lives in the area with her husband and two girls. She is a talented crafter and photographer. She also loves Jeep adventures.
Gracie, Dental Assistant
Gracie was inspired by her mom, a dental assistant, to start a career in dentistry because she wants to help people achieve a smile in which they are comfortable and confident with. She earned her dental assisting degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd and joined the Avon Dental team in 2022. Outside of the clinic, Gracie enjoys spending time with friends and family, on the lake, and cheering her sister on at sporting events.
Kayla, Licensed Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator
Kayla joined the Avon Dental Team in 2007. She is able to provide patients assistance with scheduling appointments and explaining insurance benefits, as well as assist chairside for dental procedures. She decided dentistry was the field for her when she was just 5 years old as she was amazed when her grandpa took out his teeth when they were eating cookies! She earned her dental assistant degree from SCTCC in 2007. Kayla and her husband have twin daughters and she enjoys cooking, baking, camping and traveling.
Sue, Licensed Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator
Sue has been a Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator at Avon Dental since 2012. She is committed to helping patients have a great experience here and to achieve their dental goals. Sue has a broad knowledge of many aspects of dentistry and can assist clinically as well as coordinate patient care. She obtained her dental assisting degree at Central Lakes College. She and her husband Roger have 4 adult children and many grandchildren. When Sue is not at the office or spending time with her family, she can be found kayaking, boating or skiing. She also enjoys reading and making maple syrup.
