Trish, CDA, Licensed Dental Assistant
Trish went into dentistry because she always loved going to the dentist and she has a desire to help others. She obtained her training for dental assisting at SCTCC, joined Avon Dental in 2015, and works to help patients achieve a beautiful and confident smile. When she’s not at the clinic, Trish can be found hiking, canoeing, campking, cross country skiing, and spending time on the Gunflint trail.
Lisa, Licensed Dental Assistant
Lisa obtained her training for dental assisting at Central Lakes College and has been a dental assistant at Avon Dental since 2000. Some of her favorite aspects of her job are helping patients with dental anxiety feel at ease in the dental chair and providing patients with an overall great experience. Lisa’s favorite food is bouja. Outside of work Lisa enjoys boating, vacations, and road trips.
Nicole
Nicole earned her dental assistant degree from St. Cloud Technical & Community College and joined the Avon Dental team in 2018. With her gentle spirit, she helps patients feel comfortable and cared for through any procedure. Nicole lives in the area with her husband and 2 girls. She is a talented crafter and photographer and loves Jeep adventures.
Gracie
Gracie was inspired by her mom, a dental assistant, to start a career in dentistry because she wants to help people achieve a smile in which they are comfortable and confident. She earned her dental assisting degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd and joined the Avon Dental team in 2022. Outside of the clinic, Gracie enjoys spending time with friends and family, on the lake, and cheering her sister on at sporting events.
Kayla, CDA, Licensed Dental Assistant
Kayla’s friendly smile is often the first thing patients see when they come to Avon Dental. Kayla is very knowledgeable about insurance plans and spends a lot of her time assisting patients with their accounts. As a registered dental assistant at the clinic for over 8 years, she likes helping adults maintain their smiles and seeing children get excited about coming to the dentist. Kayla and her husband are very busy with twin girls but in her spare time she enjoys the changing seasons with outdoor activities, gardening, walking, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
Sue, CDA, Licensed Dental Assistant
Sue has been a dental assistant and patient care coordinator at Avon Dental since 2012 and enjoys helping patients to have a great experience and achieve their dental goals. Sue has a broad knowledge of many aspects of dentistry, can assist chairside as well as coordinate patient care. She obtained her dental assisting training at Central Lakes College. Sue lives with her husband, Roger, and their cockapoo, Mr. Bojangles. They have 2 sons, 2 daughters and 12 grandchildren. When Sue is not at the office or spending time with her family, she can be found kayaking, cross country skiing, boating, walking, reading, and even making maple syrup!
